How do I determine the proper rope length? Generally the proper rope length is determined by your height as follows:
8 foot: 4'10"-5'3"
9 foot: 5'4"-5'10"
10 foot: 5'11"-6'2" or over.
Jump rope length depends on how high you hold your arms as you turn the rope with your wrist. If you're not sure it is better to go with a longer rope which can be shortened at the handles.
