2.0 is improved version with piping around the base of elastic cover on the palm side to avoid any scratches while sparring clinch.

Cowhide leather.
Padding MiM-Foam (Machine injected molded foam) technology with 2.5" of protection over the knuckles. Attached padded thumbs, soft poly/nylon lining for quick drying.
Velcro closure with elastic cover for safety.

gloves are comfortable, wont kill your partner

there's a little flap that covers the velcro so it doesnt come undone while sparring. its a pain in the butt to do by yourself, but its manageable.

The quality of the gloves is a little better than more expensive gloves i've seen

I'd def recommend these gloves, they are worth it for the rice

This glove is a great sparring glove,great padding all around this glove!! from the wrist, to all up the side and back and wrist of this glove,thumb attachment is wide and secure,dont let the picture fool you,under the leather on the middle of the palm is open for good ventilation. My reason for not giving it 5 stars is (I) would have liked to have a small amount of velcro located just under the palm cover and on wrist strap just to keep elastic cover from sliding up on intense use of the glove,I may sew it on myself...(but thats my preference) also lowering the elastic to cover wrist strap is a bit hard if your by yourself and want to use these gloves on the heavy bag,(could of added some nylon tabs around the end of the elastic cover to pull it down with your teeth..(just my opinon) Great Glove!! Well worth every dollar!! From a Great Company.I thank you Ring to Cage for your Superior Products!! Keep'em Coming!!
