Well made, but the foam is much stiffer than I expected. Almost makes it difficult to make a tight fist. It will perform better after breaking in with few training sessions.

I love these gloves for bag work, sparring, and grappling. They show no signs of wear, and I get compliments and questions about these gloves from pro fighters all the time. I really liked the Hayabusas I tied before these because I could immediately tell how well made they were by the way they protected my hands. I was amazed a 4 ounce glove could offer so much protection. I have thick hands, so the Hayabusa MMA gloves destroyed my hands (minus much finger skin) after 20 minutes of going crazy on my heavy bag. Apparently, this is somewhat normal for breaking in MMA gloves, but I was hitting the bag 5-6 days a week back then so I returned them.
I did A LOT of research that landed me with these gloves. My expectations were SUPER high, yet I was still blown away by the quality and versatility of these gloves. They really do offer the protection of 16 ounce gloves, and they are also very comfortable and ergonomical (no breaking in). It sounds minor, but the 15 degree cuff makes a huge difference in how these gloves fit. Those old, square MMA gloves don't support the wrist and hand the way these gloves do. They are WAY better than the Hayabusa gloves at half the price - just my opinion!
I've already used the word versatility too much, so here is an entire paragraph dedicated to the subject because I must. I train hard at home and the gym. These gloves are well padded and fitting enough to smash away on my grappling dummy and heavy bag for as long as i can stand it. I like these gloves for grappling because the palm is open and the gloves are a little bulky to help simulate the extra bulky hand wraps in MMA competition. I l wear these when I work submissions to get used to the feeling - very different than barehanded rolling. Lastly, these gloves are excellent to spar with to avoid bad habits for MMA like getting lazy and hiding behind your fluffy sparring gloves instead of moving your head and feet.
I thought I lost these gloves last week, and I was soooooo bummed! When my coach pointed to these gloves hanging off the cage when I asked him if anyone turned in some gloves I yelped out loud and ran to my babies like a ecstatic child. I totally forgot to thank him because I was so excited, which I NEVER EVER do! I effing love these glove!
Versatility.
