This is my first pair of gloves after the ones which were included when I signed with the gym I belong to. The original pair have no brand name, so can't really make a good comparison.

I give these 4 stars because I've only struck the reflex bag with them, and they're not broken in yet. I'll update when I've used them in the gym for a few months.

Initial impressions are that these are high quality, all leather gloves. I have average/large hands and the gloves are just right. I put the wraps on and the fit is very snug, but I feel they'll conform in the course of use.

The lining is very comfortable and silky; can't speak to moisture control or cooling yet. The wrist and under-forearm padding seems excellent. The stitching is doubled up on the palm and single on the backside, which is fine. It's straight and parallel and looks great.

These are definitely top-heavy, probably because of the gel. However, the wrist support is outstanding because when I hold the glove straight out at the opening end, the padding end doesn't dive.

Excellent glove if you are looking for hand protection in general. This is a long glove, with thick padding on the wirst and over the knuckles. The hand has a very natural feel once inside, from the first time. I've used them about 5 times now, and they feel broken in after the first time. If you experience hand and/or wrist problems, these are the gloves you are looking for. Also for kickboxing, the wrist and palm is secure for catching and blocking kicks. Top notch quality!
