Safety Strap Closure System provides the ultimate wrist support by having both an elastic strap and a leather strap Velcro closure system. No other glove comes close to the level of comfort and protection this glove provides. Made of genuine cowhide leather, attached padded thumbs, soft poly/nylon lining for quick drying. RING TO CAGE Rubber embossed logo on the strap.

Good overall quality, not a fan of how my thumbs feel in them but get use to it!

Thses gloves are very nice and thick tough leather but that also makes it a bit harder to break in. Looks to be good stitching with very firm padding. I bought these originally to be used for sparring but once received I noticed them to be a little too stiff for my partners likings. So I use them only for bag and pad work now. When I weight them on a scale they both come out exactly to 16oz. I love their slightly smaller pad size but they were very stiff at first.

Now it's been a couple months from purchase and they are broken in I would list these as a down side: longer break in, took some time to get used to double strap, and depending on your partners not as good for sparring. I love them and would use them all the time but partners prefer to get hit with my R2C platinum mim-foam gloves instead.
