Great gloves with really protective padding

I ordered these gloves after looking around the internet, because I thought they would provide extra padding for my hand joints during krav maga training. I have used them a number of times in training, and they have been all that I hoped for. They are well made, fit well, are comfortable after a short break-in period of one training session, offer very good wrist support and have all the padding that I need. My thumb area is what I was most concerned about, and the padding over the thumb on these gloves is almost an inch thick ( I measured)! The padding over the finger knuckles is as thick as my 16 oz. boxing gloves. It might appear from the pictures that these would be awkward to use because of the heavy padding, but they are just fine for grappling and otherwise grabbing an opponent--as well as for hitting the bag. The foam really does feel different, too--springy. Highly recommended! Ring to Cage's phone support was excellent when I had questions about sizing before ordering. Thanks!
